Stormy weather
We're bracing for a big windstorm today, but we'll see what happens. The news is always so dramatic, with their reporters bundled up in scarves and hoods like it's a blizzard in November or something, and the coverage of city crews trimming back trees, but then it ends up not happening! I was joking with my co-worker this morning that it would probably turn out to be 75 and sunny later! It's pretty miserable crosswalk weather, though. I'm going to go and buy a new book today, since I have a $150 gift card to BArnes and Noble from my dad's co-workers for his retirement...he never got the chance to use it :( Mel is going to read it, and since we are doing a little Shelfari book club, you should join and read it too! We're going to read the Almost Moon by Alice Sebold.
Husband is driving me fucking nuts lately. He just irritates me sometimes, and I don't really know why, but lately? Yes. Partly I hate it when I tell him something, and he asks me about the SAME thing like 2 days later. Um, were you not listening or do you forget that quickly?! Drives me insane. He also was bitching the other day about Alex wanting to sleep in our bed, and I quickly told him that he was the one to say yes or no to that...I've always made sure not to be in the middle of that one, and so he has to be the one to say no...didn't like hearing that too much though. He also has this thing about calling the pharmacy to order his prescriptions...he takes many, because he's diabetic, and wants me to call and order them all the time, but doesn't tell me ahead of time when he's going to be out, runs out, and asks me if I called them already...hello? Are they mine, and did I know you were out? Today I told him that he needed to call and get a new insulin prescription, and he wanted me to call the dr.'s office and do it. I told him that I'd refill them, but since it's his dr. he needed to do that part of it. I probably sound bitchy, but really, he's a big boy and entirely too spoiled!

Grrr... I totally feel your pain regarding husband frustration. Whey do they have to be such MEN!?
