Hal. E. Luyah.
I know everyone is sick and tired of all the bullets flying around here, but I love bullet posts, so what can I say? I'll make it up to ya by posting some pics at the end, 'kay?
>Have your kids ever had a friend who was just a big huge baby, and who cried every time he didn't get his way, and after awhile you just felt like telling him to stop being such a wuss and go the fuck home if he couldn't just GET OVER IT? I felt like that today.
>We had a sub in our classroom today, and she did absolutely NOTHING. I was told that if they couldn't get a sub (our district is very, very short on subs) then I'd get paid double pay for being in there and running the classroom. This really OLD lady showed up, and the other para and I just pretty much ran everything! She even fell asleep!!! I so wish there weren't any subs available, because she got paid the big bucks, while we got paid our regular rate and did it all.
>T has had several times now where they haven't been able to find subs in his various classes, and they did the following: one day they spent a period in the library, one day they spent a period in another class, so there were double the kids, one day they went to eighth grade recess (I didn't like that idea), one day they went to PE with another class, one day they had the security guard in the classroom, making sure that no one killed each other or something. In my opinion, the principal should have gone in, I think that's standard procedure if a teacher doesn't have a replacement.
>Easter was fun, and I know I didn't post about it, but it was. My mom had a big dinner thing for the relatives and extended family, so there were about 20 people there. We hid eggs outside between rain showers, and the kids found all but 1...luckily they were plastic. Pics at the end of this post. No, I did not delete them.
>Today it snowed like an inch throughout the whole day. It was soggy wet snow, and all my flowers are laying down and pouting.
>Thank gawd it is spring break...just, thank god.

My nephew, Caiden, finding an egg
My sad, sad flowers

Oh, I love the pictures!

I always know when my kids had subs there would be NO learning that day...
It was a day of hijinks...

My kid definitely has that kind of friend. I get irritated just LOOKING at him. I'm a bad person.
Cute Easter pictures!
