Auntie Becky is having a photo op contest because she got lots and lots of awesomely creative business cards, and unfortunately, her trip to BlogHer was cut short by her poor poor baby's bout with cellulitis and she didn't get to pass them out. We wanted to show her business card a great time, Northwest style, so we took it on a trip to Hood Canal with us...
my mom and stepdad graciously offered their home on Hood Canal, when they heard of the business card's sad non-trip to BlogHer. Cardita (as we came to call her) and I sat on the deck, enjoying the view, and sighting the occasional Kingfisher:
Unfortunately, Cardita wanted a little more action. T graciously offered to take Cardita for a spin on the SeaDoo. I had to convince her to wear a lifejacket because, after all, it's the law.
Cardita had a blast on the SeaDoo, although, judging from T's face, it's hard to tell who had more fun.
After the SeaDoo ride, Cardita was hungry. We fed her a fantastic dinner of steamer clams cooked in LOTS of wine, and then she had a bath with Alex...unfortunately, she spent her time at the bottom of the bathtub, where you can not see her...
Maybe it was the wine...
I think she needed the life jacket in the tub too.
